But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: John 1:12

TIME and Seasons were created by God for this world and mankind. (Genesis 1:14)

When this age ends, time as we know it will end. We will then enter into an age that has no definite end mentioned anywhere in Scripture. Usually this age is called "eternity." Or as the English translations often call it, "forever and ever" "never ending" "eternal life" etc.

"And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever and ever, Who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:" ~Revelation 10

This is why we have many instructions on how to use our time. Because "time is short." (1 Corinthians 7:29) That is why we have instructions from God's apostles to "redeem the time." (Ephesians 5:16) The apostle Paul says, "The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:11, 12

Jesus Himself tells us over and over how we need to watch. That means loving God with all our heart, mind and strength unceasingly until the very end of our lives.

Jesus warns us,

"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." ~Luke 21:34-36

We MUST heed this warning. Jesus is not joking. And God gives us power to love Him with a perfect heart. Jesus made this possible. We need to hear, listen, read the Words of the Lord and OBEY Him. Jesus told us to go to Him, take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. He said His yoke is easy and His burden is light and we will find rest for our soul.

But when we go to Him we must "abide" in Him. Abide is the English translation of the Greek word meno. And meno is a verb (an action) because abiding in Jesus is an action. We are doing something TO abide in Him. And that something is obeying His commands, His instructions, with all our heart, mind, and strength.

"And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. " Matthew 28

There are no loopholes when it comes to serving God.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." John 10:1

You have to go through Christ who IS the LOGOS (Word) of God. So you must cleave to His Word with all your heart. That means cleaving to the execution of His Word.

Stop playing around. Stop playing games with God. Stop playing Russian roulette with your eternal soul. Be wise, understand, hear His Words and act on His words by God's power through Christ.

We are more than conquerors and when time ends, God's mercy ends.

"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." Revelation 16:15

"Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." ~Revelation 1:3

Father God, I ask you in the Name of Jesus Christ, that you touch all those who read this. And that you touch all those who are discouraged and feel hopeless. Raise up warriors who love you with all their heart, that people may see the difference between someone who serves you and someone who only "honor you with their lips." Father I ask you to act on this prayer for this is Your will, purpose and plan, that souls hear your Words and act on them with all their heart. In Jesus Name. AMEN.
