Love is one of the most important words in the Bible. And to know what love is, we must know Who God is. This is only done by careful study of the Scriptures, the written LOGOS of God. The more of the Scriptures you know, the more you know God and the more you understand what love is.
But before you can really tap into the understanding of all this, you must be born again.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " John 3:3
If you are not born again you cannot even SEE the kingdom of God. If you can't see it, you can't attain unto it. You can't understand it or cause others to understand it. To see it is to have hope that at the end of the race you will attain it. If you can't see the promise then you haven't started to walk, let alone run. To run you must see the finish line. If you can't see the finish line you can't even start the race.
"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:7
Marvel = Wonder.. Do not wonder about this.
Just pray to God this happens to you. That you may enter the race. And that you receive strength to run and that you may finish the course with honor.
God will do this for you through Jesus Christ. That is His promise. All we have to do seek, ask, knock.
Jesus gave all, He poured out His soul unto death (Isaiah 53:12) for us to BE ABLE to receive the promises of God. Let us DO His Word and follow Him so we may live with God and Christ forever in fullness of joy.
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalm 16:11
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17

You can be saved!
God loves the people in the world so much that He came down to die for us. If God is opening your heart to His message and you feel convicted for your sins which have separated you from a holy God and you feel the need to be forgiven, then say this prayer. This is how I was powerfully converted to the Christ in 1997!
Say, "My Lord and my God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe Jesus the Christ died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. I believe Jesus raised from the dead and ascended into heaven and is now on the right-hand side of God listening to this prayer. I open up the door of my heart and I invite You in, Lord Jesus. Thank you, God, for saving my soul and I vow to serve you with all my heart which is the first and greatest commandment. Amen."
