The first thing I thought when I heard this teaching is that it is in essence the very doctrine of Satan. Because in some minds this doctrine would tend to "justify" homosexuals, lesbians and trannies through "faith" in this other gospel.
If there was some biblical truth to this I might consider it, but there isn't.
God has chosen to reveal Himself to us in masculine terms. And He created man in His image.
Genesis 1:27 reads, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
"If you examine this verse carefully, you will see the writer makes an important two-sided distinction by means of the pronouns he chooses to employ. The first of these pronouns is singular: "in the image of God He created him." The second is plural: "male and female He created them." (credit)
The apostle Paul also helps to clarify the important seperation between a man and a woman for the New Covenant church. In 1 Corinthians, Paul states that man “is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.” (1 Corinthians 11:7b - 9)
Paul says elsewhere that “Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.” And so he states, I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.” (1 Timothy 2:11-14)
and women should be “submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God be not blasphemed.” (Titus 2:5)
Finally, Paul says of these teachings, “If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, let him acknowledge that what I am writing you is the Lord’s command. But if anyone ignores this, he himself will be ignored.” Or as the CEV states, “So don't pay attention to anyone who ignores what I am writing.” (1 Corinthians 14:37-38)
GOD is referred to as “the Father” by Jesus the Christ, who is the Son of the Father.
And GOD “the Father”, who is the holy Spirit (John 4:24), impregnated Mary with Jesus. "...Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child conceived in her is from the holy Spirit." (Matthew 1:20)
A Female does not impregnate another female! This doctrine that the holy Spirit is feminine is backwards and illogical!
Jesus stated, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:" John 16:7, 8
God often proclaims to the world that He is a "KING" (not "queen").
The LORD sat as King at the flood; Yes, the LORD sits as King forever. ~Psalm 29:10 (Also see: Psalm 47:2, Psalm 47:6-7; Psalm 95:3; Isaiah 6:5, Isaiah 44:6; 1 Timothy 1:17; Revelation 15:3 and there are many more.)
Jesus says, "But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. God is Spirit (The holy Spirit), and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” ~John 4:23, 24
Unstable and unlearned people recklessly attempt to understand God in ways they shouldn't (to their own destruction).
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8, 9
God has sometimes shown that He supercedes what we understand in terms of male and female. In one place He shows this by saying, "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee." Isaiah 49:15
In another place God states, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up." Psalm 27:10
People are attempting to understand God through their carnal mind. Although God uses examples such as these we aren't supposed attempt to create some new teaching such as the teaching that the holy Spirit is a female. We are to RIGHTLY divide God's Word. And the fact is, He always describes Himself as a man.
Here, God again makes the clear distinction, "For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man." 1 Cor 11:7
In no way is God "effeminate" as He clearly states that those who are such will NOT inherit the kingdom of God! 1 Corinthians 6:9
This web page will serve several purposes. Not only will I expose the doctrine itself but this will also expose those who promote this doctrine because that is how I bumped into it in the first place.
God spoke of them this way, "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied." Jeremiah 23:21
It started with a woman named Monica Dennington. I have seen her on youtube for years. Her Ministry is called "Tic Toc Ministries" and from what I saw there didn't seem to be any false doctrine espoused by her. Until I saw one of her videos called, " The Hidden Link: The Feminine holy Spirit". Now I have to tell you, that title alone is enough for me to know that she is EXTREMELY satanic.
I want to make this brief because I know that people's attention spans are very short these days. And so, here it is.
I did a web search on "holy Spirit Mother" (without quotes) and one of the first web results dealt with the issue pretty well. Here is what the page said,
Q. I recently found a web-site with a series of articles authored by someone who appears to have a true love for Christ and I feel I have learned a lot about Jesus from these articles.
But I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you. As regards the holy Spirit, he says the Spirit is “feminine” our “Spiritual Mother”. I have read in other books that the “gender” when referring to the Spirit is “neuter”. If you could recommend any good teaching dealing with this topic(the holy Spirit) I would appreciate it.
A. The notion of the holy Spirit being feminine comes from the pagan view that God was once a woman before the patriarchs of Israel hijacked the people’s religion and made God a man around the time of King Josiah. They claim that the people retained the feminine deity in the form of Shekinah, which is a Hebrew name for the holy Spirit. According to them, Shekinah was called Asherah in Canaanite theology and was a fertility goddess and the consort of Jehovah. It was said that Jehovah and Shekinah met in the holy of Holies each Friday night as the Sabbath began, to act out the Song of Solomon in a sexual liaison. For more information on this you can read my study called “When God Was A Woman.” It’s in the Selah directory under Tough Questions Answered.
While there is neither Biblical nor historical support for this idea and the very idea is repulsive to both Jews and Christians, it has re-emerged recently in the DaVinci Code where Shekinah is referred to as “the divine feminine”.
Of course this belief constitutes blasphemy of the holy Spirit, a sin that our Lord said would not be forgiven in this life or the next."
Then another search result which was way at the top was by another person who I have known to be a heretic and his name is David J Stewart (jesus-is-savior.com). In this instance he was propagating a Baptist "minister" named, Dr. Jack Hyles and his message called, "Woman, the holy Spirit of the Family"
Right at the top of his message Jack Hyles begins to pray and says, "... The Lord chose to compare a family with the Trinity... " Can anyone tell me where this man got that? I don't ever remember reading in the Bible where the Lord compares the trinity to a family! And so I did a web search for "family with the Trinity" (not in quotes) and right at the top is a match from a Catholic web site which states, "The Family is a reflection of the Trinity. The husband, wife, and children are a reflection of the Father, Son, Spirit."
And so this all starts to make sense now. Seeing how much the Catholic Church wanted to exalt Mary into an office that God never ordained. The Catholic Church calls the doctrine, "The Assumption of Mary".
What Catholicism does is lean toward worship of a feminine deity that they created themselves. They call her "Mary", but that is easily proven to be a lie. It all goes back to what the other man stated above in regards to the pagans worshipping Asherah.
Three more cults have embraced this doctrine as well (I may call them "cults" but I wish no ill toward them. Only that they might accept God's direction for them laid out clearly in His Word. "Cult" is synonymous with "sect" by the way):
In 1977, one of their leaders, Lois Roden, began to formally teach that a feminine holy Spirit is the heavenly pattern of women. In her many studies and talks she cited numerous scholars and researchers from Jewish, Christian, and other sources. They see in the creation of Adam and Eve a literal image and likeness of the invisible Godhead, male and female, who is "clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made" (Romans 1:20).
They take the Oneness of God to mean the "familial" unity which exists between them, which unity is not seen in any other depiction of the Godhead by the various non-Hebrew peoples. Thus, having a Father and Mother in heaven, they see that the Bible shows that those Parents had a Son born unto them before the creation of the world, by Whom all things were created.
The Unity Church's co-founder Charles Fillmore considered the holy Spirit a distinctly feminine aspect of God considering it to be "the love of Jehovah" and "love is always feminine"
Main article: Mormonism and Christianity One Mormon hymn refers to a Heavenly Mother, partnered to the Father. However, it is not worshipped as divine and official Mormon teachings hold that the Spirit is considered to be male.
~May God bless you with understanding, wisdom and discernment all those who read this message. In Jesus' Name Amen
God loves the people in the world so much that He came down to die for us. If God is opening your heart to His message and you feel convicted for your sins which have separated you from a holy God and you feel the need to be forgiven, then say this prayer. This is how I was powerfully converted to the Christ in 1997!
Say, "My Lord and my God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe Jesus the Christ died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. I believe Jesus raised from the dead and ascended into heaven and is now on the right-hand side of God listening to this prayer. I open up the door of my heart and I invite You in, Lord Jesus. Thank you, God, for saving my soul and I vow to serve you with all my heart which is the first and greatest commandment. Amen."
