Holy Spirit in Obedience
This is where the Holy Spirit is. In obedience. Where obedience is found. Where people line themselves up with God's Word and repent before God when they read where they failed. The Holy Spirit is there when you are judging yourself through God's Word and turning your feet unto HIS testimonies. That is loving God with all your heart. You show you are willing to judge yourself and do whatever it takes to make sure you are pure and free of any sin.
And God works with you in this process. Its a "fellowship". The greek word "fellowship" is interchangeable with "partnership" here:
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3
Greek word for "fellowship" is koinōnia. Definition:
fellowship, association, community, communion, joint participation, intercourse
the share which one has in anything, participation
intercourse, fellowship, intimacy
the right hand as a sign and pledge of fellowship (in fulfilling the apostolic office)
a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution, as exhibiting an embodiment and proof of fellowship
We must love God with all our hearts and our neighbors as OURSELVES. According to God's definition of love, which is as deep as God is.
How can you call anyone else to repentance if you yourself are in rebellion? That is hypocrisy! And God would be unjust to condemn sinners who resist God and yet allow you into heaven. You who says they know God.
"And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12
"and prepared not himself,"
Are you preparing yourself?
If you have never repented of your sins and been saved and feel the desire to do so now please say this prayer. This is how I was powerfully saved 20 years ago!
"My Lord and my God, Have mercy on my soul, a sinner, I believe Jesus the Messiah died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. I believe God raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus is now on the right hand of God and can hear my prayer at this moment and wants to live through me and give me power to keep His Word. I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart Lord Jesus. Please be my Lord and Savior in every aspect of my life. Thank you God for saving my soul and I vow to serve you with all my heart which is the first and greatest commandment. Amen"
